I Obtained 1 year work permit instead of 3 years

I completed my two year program in conestoga from jan 2024 to april 2025 without break..Day before yesterday i got my work permit for only one year instead of 3 years. But my friends got 3 years.what i have to do .i am so confused..should i go to lawyer or raise a web form .please someone help me..Thank you..

If your passport isn't expiring then do both. Raise webform with IRCC rule stating that 2 year programs are always approved for 3 year PGWP, and ask a lawyer. There are no timelines for reconsideration.

My passport is expiring on 2033. Is there any format for submitting web form like in one pdf i have to attach my letter of completion, transcripts . Anything else? Also a letter to explain the situation.

Lawyers are expensive. If don't want to pay then talk to a licensed immigration consultant.

If you know anyone will you share their name or number ..just one i spoke with one guy he is asking 4000$ to proceed . He was telling like it is hard to get approval because already the decision is made .

The moderators of the forum are immigration lawyers. Click on the link at the top - Cohen Immigration. Submit a webform ASAP and it may be successful. Include your transcripts and the include the IRCC statement that you are eligible. The issue is that PGWP site says "may" not guaranteed so you have to explain why you should get it.

I contacted cohen immigration law.They said that i have to contact IRCC for this issue.. will you explain in detail like how can i submit the web form . where can i get the ircc statement ..and the sentence you mentioned ..please

Follow the instructions to submit the webform. Google - PGWP length and find the statement that you MAY be eligible. I am not a consultant so hire a consultant, not lawyer, if you are unsure of the process.
