My consultant informed me that he got my PPR

I need ur guidance regarding following,

1- Presently i am staying in Dubai
2-My wife and 10 months old son went back to pakistan last month and their residence visas were also cancelled

3-Now what should i do?
-Should i get their passports to dubai via curior and send all of our ppts to CHC?
-Can i send passports seperately to CHC (sending my family passports from pakistan and my passport from Dubai?
OR should i go to pakistan and then send all three passports to CHC from Pakistan?

Plz suggest me which option is better

Immidiate response would be appreciated

Just write the name,passport no,issue and expiry date of each person.
It is what we called doing the job for them.

Hi Ather,

Congrats once again. Now to your questions specific:

1. R u sure, Pps r allowed to be sent abroad from Pakistan? From India it is not. And ditto from many other countries.
2. As a rule we have to send our Pps in ONE Package to CHC. u cannot split them... some from Dxb & some from Pk.
3. Check with your consultant whether they do Pp forwarding job. Some agents don't. If they do, send it thru them.
4. If they don't... use DHL. They have a special Pp sending plan... exactly for our cases.
5. U need to send 5 things to CHC-London:
a) Original Pps of all. (Don't forget to attach the older ones to new pp booklets, if they were mentioned in your apps).
b) The "Filled" 'Update Information Sheet'. (U'll get it inside the PPR letter... type it -not hand written).
c) A strong 'Self Addressed' Envelope to get your Pps+COPR back [A4 sized]. (Farook Stationary has one for AED 13).
d) Pp sized [CIC pattern] pics (2 for each member). (The format will come with the PPR letter -show it to the Photographer).
e) A 'cover letter' thanking your VO & enumerating the above 4 enclosures. (Use Double A paper).
6. U don't need to affix stamps or a return courier fees. The Pps shall return via Aramex -payable AED 80 on delivery.
7. Our stamped Pps come thru CHC-Adh [via a CHC internal courier], who further delivers it to Aramex.
8. Returning time is 3 weeks, usually.

yes u r right that from pakistan it is not allowed to send passport outside
My family now having not residence visa for Dubai

1- Is it possible that i get those PPTs to Dubai (via some body comming from pakistan by hand)?

2- If i get their PPTs here in dubai without Dubai Visa then, Will i b able to send it from here without Dubai visas?

3- Or should i go back to pakistan and send all Passports from there? And if i send it from pakistan, where they

will send it back, pakistan or Abu dhabi?

4- Because now ISB applications are also going to London so people from there must be sending their passports for visa to London.

My consultant dont have enough information about this issue and i am not satisfied from his suggestions



Plz u suggest me best solution

Get your family's pps to Dubai (whatever way u can). And send them all in one package from there to CHC-London.

No hanky pankies here, u have already waited a lot. That's my humble opinion.

Actually i have decided to go pakistan and then i will send all three passports from there.

I have called DHL Pakistan and they told me yes they will take our passports from Pakistan to UK.

Is this option fine Captain Sab ?

One very important question plz do reply this , because if we send passport from

dubai to UK, CHC in this case send back to Abu Dhabi Embassy and finally we get it by ARAMEX curior

So what will happen if i send it from pakistan ? I mean where CHC will send back passports, ISB high commission

or directly to us ?

If it is possible to send pps from Pk (as DHL-Pk said), it is perfectly alright for u to go to Pk & send all from there. U don't need to send the pps from Dubai only.

Once u send the pps from Pk, u'll place your Pk Address in the 'returning self addressed envelope'. In such a case your pps will return to Pk only vide the prevalent channel of dispatching pps from London to Pk. They will not come via CHC-Adh. That process is only for Dubai Addresses.

Now how the courier system works there in Pk, I'm not aware of. But, u must ask DHL about it. As DHL has a 'Passport Collection' facility, I'm sure they'd do a 'pre-paid Return Courier' system with u. Check with them.

Can I make a suggestion? If you can afford it and all things being equal why don't you go to Pakistan as you've mentioned, collect the passport for the whole family and take these back with you to Dubai.

Thereafter, follow the process that quorax has kindly elaborated for you. This way you'll get the PP back in Dubai and you can travel back to Pakistan and the whole family can then travel to Canada from there. Just my 2 cents, provided you can afford the travel back and forth.

I would like to seek advice regarding the certifications or to upgrade my skills which would be recognised in Canada.

I have around 10 yrs of exp. in Mainframe and currently employed in a IT company in India. With my Mainframe background how easy would it be to get a job? Or do I need to do a technology change or project mgt certifications like PMP or Prince?

I have a question for u. If u go to pakistan and send all ur passports to London CHC then if they delay in stamping visa due to some security last minute check how will u come back to U.AE . are u planning to cancel ur current visa and bid goodbye to Emarat. If u are cancelling and going then no problem but at the same time u need to update CHC of the same. Some unlucky guys have their passports stuck up in CHC for long times. So be prepared and then take the leap.
