Hi,
I want to know something. After getting my PR immigration I went to Canada in August 2012, and left Canada in October 2012. Now I have 2 questions.
1. I know according to PR obligations I have to stay atleast 2 years out of 5 in Canada. I want to know do I have to complete these 2 years at one stretch or if I keep coming and going , will my days be counted and may I complete my 2 years this way.

2. Second thing I want to know is that do I have to make my second visit within an year of my first one or can I just go anytime I want in 5 years and complete my 2 years period. For example my first visit was from August 2012 to October 2012 , do I have to make a visit in August 2013 or can I go after August 2013 or October 2013 anytime within the 5 year period , as long as I can complete my 2 years.

Thank you!

1. It is not required to complete 2 year period in one stretch.

2. You can leave Canada and return any number of times within the 5 year period but only need to be physically present in Canada for 730 days totally to meet the PR obligation.
