Please how do i respond to this?
Hello,
I personally didn't get this form but my understanding ( and please if you are not sure retain a legal advice) is that you should file as separated and still file your spouse information and mention that he is separated. Please do not omit anything as they will consider it incomplete. Again that's my understanding to this question and in doubt I'd strongly suggest you to check with an immigration lawyer.

As for the proof to move to Alberta, you can show them discussion with some landlords proving that you are indeed looking for an apartment, you can also mention (if it's the case) that your work requires you to be there physically ( that you don't have remote work or that you have hybrid work so you still need to be in Alberta for in office days of work). in that case you can discuss with your HR to write you a letter confirming this.

Good Luck
