I alread got a Open Work Permit (paper letter from IRCC) , but the application status confuses me.

Because the COVID-19, I have completed the medical exam within 30 days, but the clinic is still processing, I guess because the clinic is too busy and the processing is too slow， Will this affect my OWP effectiveness？why i got the OWP before my immagration madical exam? tks a lot.

Did you get a work permit or an approval letter saying that your work permit was going to be mailed to you? If the former, are there any conditions on your work permit?
If the latter, maybe they've approved the work permit in principle, pending receipt fo the medical results?

It is the former, so I received an letter, which is my work permit. meanwhile, The CIC website told me : i must have a medical exam within 30 days. I feel very strange. I think medical exam first, then work permit approval，Or these two things don't matter in any order?

I think that you may not receive your actual work permit until your medical confirms that you are not inadmissible.
