Good post!

Is it really informative or carries same info as our status shows?
Can you please tell me, which kind of information we get from this?
Is it also telling us the timeline?

@ cocknbull
Kindly reply..

Hi!

Yes it is informative. From these notes you can see what checks have already been done like back ground / security / crime and what checks are left. It also tells you the bring forward date, which means when is the next date your file would be reviewed.

If some one is waiting long after going in to "in process" he should order these notes to see the status of his case.

Thanks

Dear All,
I have applied for CAIPS notes dated 31st January, 2012 through my friend who resides in Calgary. But I have filled up CAIPS old version form instead of new one. Will they accept or return my application due this mistake?

Please guide me regarding this issue.

Thanks,
Khan04

sir can i order caips before getting file no

I don't think so.
-How'd they link ur file?
-If u don't have a file No. there might not be anything logged as well.
-And, as u don't have a file No. it'd be too early to fetch ur CAIPS/GCMS notes.
-Where's the need?
