how to know if my documents were received by the CIO?

hi can any one help me please... because i am worried with the application i sent to the CIO,i do not know if they already received it but as i track the application that i sent, it was just written that it reached the office already last october 31,2014 will they sendme a notification if they are already reviewing my documents? what will i wait for and how long will i wait? will i wait for an email from them? please help.....

No, CIO won't give you any confirmation. Depending on the courier company you can get the confirmation of delivery from them.
You will only hear from CIO in 3-4 months time with the desicion made on your application.

ok thank you so much so it means i have to wait for a reply from them after 3-4 months? do u have an idea if i can make it to the cap (noc 3012)? is the spreadsheet at the CIC website always updated?

There's a spreadsheet for FSWP2014 maid and maintained by this forum's activists. It only includes information shared by forumites, thus can give you only a rough idea of timelines and numbers of application.
CIC update their website with actual numbers, but they are only opening late July applications at the moment.
