How to get Police certificate from Israel and FBI from the US

Hi all,
my partner who I am sponsoring, had an email from LVO asking for an updated FBI certificate and a Police certificate from Israel. he spent some time in both countries in the 1980's.

We are now in Canada and his application on ecas says it has been 'in process' since March this year - so the sooner we can get on this the better!
