How to find a friend from Manitoba to sponsor a new immigrant?

Guys ..my brother planning to immigrate to Canada ..All his documents are ready and he meet all requirements under skilled workers category ..the only things left for him is a close friend to sponsor him whom should be staying in Manitoba for at least one year ..

My question is how he can find a friend to sponsor him ?

You don't "find" a close friend. A close friend is something you already have.

As part of the application process you have to sign paperwork as a "friend" to confirm your relationship and sponsorship. Lying on these form by saying you know someone well (when you don't) is fraud and a crime.

It sounds like your brother doesn't actually meet the criteria to apply. He should look at other programs.

The entire point of the Manitoba general stream is for those with close ties to be sponsored to come to Manitoba. If he does not have those ties, he does not belong in that stream, and would be taking a slot from someone who does. Points are given for that connection for a reason.

Trying to game the system like you are describing is disingenuous, and risky. An immigration officer may not take kindly to a "friend" met after you started trying to immigrate.

It has nothing to do with "safe". It's about not committing immigration fraud.
