how to check LMIA letter

No one can check. If you are asking it is most likely fake. If the job offers anything free it is fake - transportation, food, accommodations - it is fake.
I wouldn’t think there is that much of a rush to sort out health insurance until the work permit is agreed. With that in mind, I would be a little suspicious. My employer is paying my insurance but I don’t know if that is the norm.
Why do you need to pay them health insurance? Don't give them any money. Are you offered anything free - airfare, food, accomodations? Have you applied for your closed work permit? Seems fake.
