The guy who is advising me said that while applying for PR, I can either claim 20 points or 24 points. Is that right?

I dunno why the site said that i spammed :-[

You should get 23 points. He is 100% wrong.

Thanks Johny :D
He rattled me with two other things today on ielts...
I wanted to gain clarity on a couple of questions as under below.

1: My passport is due to expire in july2015. But i have given my Ielts Examination on the same passport. Can i apply for Pr on my existing passport and renew my passport later?

2: If I apply on a New Passport, will i have to repeat my IELTS examination?

21 points is the correct number. Not 16/20/24

Thanks Johny,

Just want to share one thing.

After speaking with the adviser I feel that I know more about PR application compare to him. So I am thinking to apply myself without taking help of immigration consultant.

Thanks,

Unfortunately - his scores are too low therefore he is ineligible to apply. You can't have any score below "6" if you want to be eligible for PR. Must improve his listening.

i took IELTS on June 21, 2014 and got 6.0 overall, i-e R 5.0, L 6.5, W 6.0 and S 6.0. I am confused how to calculate my CLB level. Any advise which CLB level did i achieve? Need to apply for FSW in this week.

The 5 on reading makes your score ineligible. you cannot apply unless u retake and get a better score (atleast 6 in all 4 parts)

Hi I would like to seek your assistance in getting my clb level versus the results of my ielts prior to submitting our MPNP application.

L 6
R 5.5
W 6.5
S 7.5

Is this scores eligible? Can I proceed with my application or would you suggest to have a retake?
