I heard about limit on low wage workers but i dont know about high wage. Does that do any bad for the country or economy?

Again, i heard guys Lmia from Alberta has been reject as his wage was higher than a Canadian worker

OH WOW! That's ridicules! If an employer wants to pay, let him! Unfortunately, I'm also applying from Alberta.

Ya but i guess its an issue only if both the employees are in the same level/position and the tfw is getting paid more than the canadian

You're right, specially if they're on the same level in the same company. Weird mistake.
My PR application is in process, so I wonder if as a part of the transition plan, I can choose the option of "one activity such as permanent job offer". I have received such offer, thing is I'm applying for PR under family class, so in your opinion, does that contradict itself?

My potential employer doesn't pay $ for overtime but we can bank the time in lieu. Can this be a problem with getting a positive LMIA?

Thats crazy.

In my department there are myself and another manager and 2 supervisors, in order for me to have seniority i get paid $500 more a year than the other manager.

This was all on the application and i still got my LMIA.

i guess it depends on what visa officer you get and if they are feeling the need to be super anal about stuff.

I think you're right, all depends on which officer's desk it's going to land on.
Anyways, do you need a language requirement in your job offer? Mine doesn't have one and they ask about that on the LMIA

Low wage positions can be approved now only for 1 year. If in the LMIA it says the employer would like to hire the employee for 2 years on a low wage position, should they change it to 1 year? Or it won't have much impact, the LMIA will be issued for 1 year no matter how many years will be stated there?
