I worked from January 28, 2016 to May 15, 2016 and then
from January 21, 2017 till present (August 9, 2018)

I received ITA already, so how would my experience count? Will it be already considered as 2 years as CIC gives option of month and year only. So, I selected January, 2016 to May 2016 + January 2017 to August 2018, technically it's 25th month now. Should I submit my application?

When I count day by day or week by week then 2 years of time is still not completed. What should I do? Can anyone please clear this to me? Greatly appreciated. thank you !!

You can check in your ITA, and see how many points were you awarded for :
-CRS – Human Capital – Canadian Work Experience
-CRS – Skill Transferability – Foreign Work Experience

For FSW..Irrespective whether it is 1 or 2 years, the points will not change if it is a Foreign Work Experience....

Incase you are a CEC... you can use the calculation of 30 hours/week for 12 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)

Thanks a lot for replying.... But looking at my time frames, can you elaborate if it is counted 24 months or not? Even if I am starting on 28th of the month, will they count whole month right?

And I got 46 points under CEC in my ITA.

So the EE system is recognizing it as a 2 year CEC.....

I would suggest you double check with @DelPiero07 to confirm if this gets counted as 24 months or not.

It does not count yet as two years (8 weeks to go), it counts as one year right now. But that only affects your CRS score, not your eligibility (MEC) for CEC (you only need 1 year to be eligible).

MEC must be met at the time of the ITA.
CRS points must be valid at the time you submit the eAPR.

So, to keep the points for the 2nd year, you just need to make sure you submit your eAPR AFTER you complete the 2nd year...
