I applied for PRTD on 17th of April, 2019. its been two months now and no one contacted me regarding it. The online tracking shows the application is at IRCC office and under process. What is best way to speed up process or any idea how long will it take them to send my PRTD. Also I applied for PRTD for the first time, what are my chances of getting it. Thank you

And you’re meeting your RO , correct ?

And you’re meeting your RO , correct ?
Not actually, I applied on the humanitarian and compassionate basis. My New PR card is at IRCC office Montreal which I applied last year when I was present in Montreal (on H&C basis). I had to travel back and after 1 year I get letter from IRCC to come in to collect PR card before 25th July 2019.

So you weren’t meeting your RO, made it back to Canada, unreported, applied for a PR card based upon H & C reasons, it was approved , but you elected to leave Canada again, back to Pakistan without staying two years ?Sounds like the CIC already cut you some slack by you applying for the PR card in Montreal, when you had not met RO, would this be correct ?
I could be wrong, but more than likely your RO is probably being reviewed, and that is why it is taking longer than normal. Your case is not normal. You have already been granted a so called "hall pass", by having a PR card issued based upon H&C when not fulfilling your RO, and then got up and left the country again, and that would be the root of your issue
You could always send a webform

Yes that is correct. Thanks for webform hope it will work. I was reading another thread, some people were saying it will take them 5 months to get PRTD. Hope not in my case

I wouldn’t be surprised, or it maybe refused upon another review. Basically in a nut shell you’re pushing the proverbial envelope with the IRCC . It’s an extremely generous RO , 2 out of 5 years compared to other countries.

Agreed. By applying for a PRTD you’ve opened yourself up to another residency review. Your previous H&C reasons may not be considered this time.

I have been permanent resident if canada since 2001. This is first time I didnt met RO because of some serious H&C reason. Now I want to move permanently to Canada. Hope it will work out for me

If you successfully manage to get a second chance maybe this time stay put and apply for citizenship this time when you qualify given no excuse having been a PR since 2001.

I am getting following message when I track my application. Any idea how long it will take?

Visa application, tracking ID No.......... Your processed passport has been forwarded to the Canada Visa Office, ISLAMABAD on 2019/04/17. To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website.
