I got my fingerprints taken and e-submitted Fri Jul 31. RCMP mailed it to me on Tue Aug 4 and I received it Fri Aug 7. So it took 7 days total for me and they process on a first come first serve basis. I would guess within 10 days from when you submit your fingerprints unless you live in a rural area. Yours should show up any day but I have seen people wait for 4 weeks.

I have exact same time as you , I submitted it 31th morning , still waiting !!

I however live in Winnipeg , I am guessing you live some where in Ontario?

Please can this RCMP be done upfront? so that when it is requested....one can just upload it.

The only problem is that I am not up to six month in Canada but my spouse is.
yes get it done for both.... if they ask later then they gonna delay your application 1 month easily.

Not everyone living in Canada is requested to submit RCMP...BTW, it takes 10 days to get this report...

If not everyone is requested, then what does it mean for those who are requested for it? Is it a good or a bad sign?

i requested coz i lived ever province in canada so they need my record from everywhere that's why i was requested and i got PR. now waiting for my card. if you are clean and have no bad record you dont have to worry about it.

Today I rcvd RCMP request. I have 60 days to submit. Do I submit it for both - Me and spouse?
And do we just goto RCMP office and tell them that we are here for criminal record check? Whats the process like? They have given other agencies that take fingerprints. Has anyone done this through these agencies?
And how long it takes after RCMP to get RPRF/PPR? Anyone who has been through this process? Thanks a lot ppl !!

It is not a necessary part of application. You only do it when and only if CIC asks you.

RCMP requested on Jun 8 and submitted on Jun 18, no any updates since then!!!

Is RCMP the final step before PPR???

Can anyone share your experience??? Cheers mates!
I know its a very old post, but what was the outcome of discussion, how long it took after RCMP to get PPR
