How long does NDVO usually take for PPR after pre-arrival letter?

Hey guys, I'm wondering how long it usually takes to get PPR after the pre-arrival letter for outland spousal applications in NDVO.

I looked at the spreadsheet and most seem to get it between 7-15 days, but I've been waiting for over 1 month now. Any idea or insight into how long this could potentially take?

It depends on each case, officer, time of the year, and etc. Many factors play a role, and it's difficult to give a specific timeline. If you look carefully in the spreadsheet some take 3 months between pre-arrival and a decision. So your 15 days estimate is not entirely accurate.

Interesting. Do you know if last couple of weeks it slows down in NDVO? I was thinking perhaps sometime in the new year we might get the PPR as it's Christmas/New years time now.

NVDO is likely busy with student visas over December. You are correct, it has slowed down in December. Hopefully early in the new year, best of luck!

my husband just got his pre arrival in Nov 30 (in India) , still nothing as yet. He have completed medical and biometric. i dont nw what is taking so long

Hard to say as there's still the criminal/background checks after the eligibility stuff is done. If you look at the spreadsheet online, there's several people with pre-arrivals from NDVO that are still waiting. Hopefully things speed up as student season is now done.

Mine received pre-arrival service email on 31st march this year and still waiting confirmation of Pr it’s just frustrating time and another long wait game . I thought this stage is faster compared to long waiting years ,we submit our app in march 2020 got medical expired January and did another medical feb and still stuck in process .

Hi I also got pre arrival on 30 may 2022, but tracker shows background not started nd eligibility is in progress but If we see on ircc portal account it shows background is in processing since I have gave medical nd reviewing eligibility. I dnt kw which is true. Nd how much we should wait for PPR

Pre arrival u can get only when your eligibility is completed
Might be System is not updated in your case
