My attorney just received my passport with VISA and CORP. We have sent a request to CIC to send our passport directly to my local address in USA instead they sent all documents to my attorney in CANADA. I hope to receive my passport by tomm or next week. Still, I am very happy..It was a long journey

Good Luck to ALL.

It took them 11 days after they received it to send it back to my friend in Canada
and after that, my friend sent it to me by FedEx (2 days) ...So 11 + 2 = 13 days total.

Landing is next.....Please can anyone confirm if l can land anywhere?
or it must be Quebec....I got a cheaper flight deal to Toronto as compared
to Montreal

What I heard from people, it depends on the officer at the Port of Entry. Some might be nosy if you dont land near Quebec since you have a CSQ. I think it would be safe to land near Quebec. The rules say you can land anywhere but just to avoid a bunch of questions from the officer, I think it would be better to land near Quebec.

Thanks so much!!!...If they want me to land in Quebec, I guess I will just make use of my still valid 5yrs multiple visitor
visa at the entry point and continue my journey to Montreal with bus and do my landing with one of their offices in person then.

Whatcha think?

I am not sure if they will count you as a visitor or permanent resident at the Port of Entry coz you will have the immigrant visa as well in your passport. Also, it'll say automatically in their system that you are a permanent resident so I am not sure if the visitor visa becomes still valid...

I suggest you to ask seniors as well. They might come up with something new for you :)
