How long does it take CPP-O to stamp PR visas?

Hello there, I want to know if the status change after they stamp the passports.
I saw some of you are taking long time to receive the passports back, some just few weeks, any clue about what is the difference between cases?

My friend sent passport on Mar-12 and they received it on Mar-13. When we mailed CPP-O, they replied as below, what does this mean ?? In approximate how many weeks, I can expect the passports back. :

Hi Yanesrahn. Has your status changed to Decision Made? It's 2 weeks now that I got PPR & 13 days CPP-Ottawa received my passport and status is still 'in process'.

They sent it by regular mail, did not use the UPS return envelope I had included. Planning to land in 2 week's time. Thank you all for all your support and guidance. I will keep you posted regarding my landing experience. We are planning to land by car, at the vermont/quebec border.

The date of issue on visa and COPR is 25th April 2013, which is strange because we got our passport request on 26th April 2013, and Ottawa received our PPs on May 2, 2013. I think they work in mysterious ways

The expiry of visa is 19th November 2013.

lol...What I think happened was they printed the COPR & VISA in advance before your passport reached their office. I'm surprised even though it sounds illogical.

I know, right? I am still surprised. CPP ottawa is full of surprises.

Hi Coshx.. My e-case changed to decision made 1 day after the passports were request. Ottawa received them on May 10.

Finally got my pp back and done wd my landing too . It was long journey finished with thanx and a smile ;D ;D
