How long does it take CPP-O to stamp PR visas?

I sent an email to CPP-Ottawa 8 times, well I stoped sending them email when I received a actual reply not Auto-reply (I hope it came from one of the officer). It says:

Dear Sir/Madam,

Your file has been added to a priority list. A follow up will be completed on your application at the earliest convenience.

We thank you for your patience.

Regards

--But it was not mentioned that they received my passport unlike the others here who got response from CPP-Ottawa... --sigh-- ???

They have our passports but for some reason they are holding them back .Either there are not enough visa officers, new back ground check or they are misplaced

I don't know if the priority list really works or not, so if you have been added to priority list, can you please tell me when you are in the priority list and I was just trying to find out how long it takes after getting in the list.

mine has reached CPP-O on 15th Mar. no update since then. sent them 2 emails....no replies.....is there any number to call? how can I make them reply to my emails?

Its the only people who send there passports in Feb and March are stuck for some strange reasons

I took my paystubs and employment letter but they didnt look at it.
They just looked at my bank statements. I had around $22000 in bank.
I had around $150 in my wallet but they didnt ask me how much cash i m carrying.
On the other hand another a friend of mine who was travelling wid me had
$4500 in his bank statements and he is currently umemployed. He had no problems in
getting the pr.

Does this mean if you are in land applicant and have been working, you should still have some funds in your account?? How much is advisable?? Advise is appreciated!!

my passport is on the way on may 1st. it delivered on 16th april to ottawa.

i am little bit afraid.

Immigration minister is making big time moves. I hope they dont do what they did with other application last summer. They just sent the passports back without visa saying that we cannot process more people due to over head count as per jobs and to avoid unemployment

Hi Guys- CPP-O requested the PP, photos and biodata and CPP-O received my requested documents on April 12th. 2 days after the request, ecas has updated as DECISION MADE. Yet, I haven't received my passports. Any suggestions please...

mine as two days after they recieved my PP on May1,2013 its showing decision made...hopefully they sent it back within 2 weeks...fingers crossed...lets see.

for senior guys whose passports are not back...whats ur ecas showing?
