How long does it take CPP-O to stamp PR visas?

WTF CPPO? Come on, this is getting ridiculous.

Can they not issue some official document (instead of visa that requires passport) for letting people enter one time into Canada to complete landing formality? Similar to how US issues something like I797 or I20? One time pit after another.. I am just venting out here..

I thought PNP applicants are getting their passports back within no time....but looks like it is not correct...

I also just now got the same crap mail.....and its been 7 weeks since they have my passport....

why they are holding our passports..?

We should file a complaint ..This is serious negligence from them .After paying 490$ and then getting such a *censored word*ty service.How come some people are getting them back in 2-3 weeks .I think they have misplaced our Passports .What criteria they are using ?

Received the same reply as others from CPP-O after exactly one week.

Dear Sir/Madam,

We have received your passport and your application is currently in queue to be finalized. Please note that we are unable to estimate the remaining processing time required for your application.

If you have included a prepaid Xpresspost return envelope, your passport will be returned using this envelope. You should be able to follow its delivery on the Canada Post website.

If you did not provide a prepaid Xpresspost return envelope, your passport will be returned to you by regular mail.

in my ppr they are requestin i use canada post prepaid envelopes, however, i live in the united states, we don't have canada post here, can i use usps for this,?? if how will they send me back the passports using sups from canada.
any help is much appreciated
