How long does it take CPP-O to stamp PR visas?

Everyone,

As far as you guys know, my tracker got activated on 2 April. However, I have never received my parcel, which contained my passport, multiple visas, and my COPR. Canada Post has declared their mistake and this lost.

This is the worst nightmare ever, and I have been waiting for my PR for the last 2 years.

In the past days, I have been running around town, contacting Canada Post and cic, visiting the police station, multiple embassy(s) trying to clean up this mess that Canada Post left me. And, all these cost, time, stress that Canada Post just gave me, definitely cannot be replaced with $100 reimbursement!!!!!!

So, Good luck everyone. Dont get happy after the the tracker activation, enjoy the happiest once you get your passport and COPR on your hand. I still have a long way to go, and I do not know when I can get my PR after investing 11 years in Canada.

I am sorry to hear that canadapost gave up on their search. it is not fair at all.

what about CIC. I guess you might have informed them? and what was their response?

and I am not sure if you have checked in your apartments others post boxes.
Post man might have accidentally dropped in a box other than yours...

I think if anyone has your passport it is there responsibility to return it to authorities .I really hope you get it back .

So sorry to hear that...

I think the best way is to get new passport and send it to cpp-o with the official evidence that canada post lost all the docs. Then, cpp-o will definitely issue copr again to you for sure because you are still in their system.

I am very sorry to hear your story. Is it possible for you to contact CIC with the police report and ask them to grant your PR at local CIC office?

Doesn't hurt to ask. Maybe they will have some sympathy. Ask MP for help. At least they will grant you PR without passport and CoPR and you will reapply for a new passport later. I wish you best of luck.

My ecas changed when my status changed from In process to decision made. The status changed 2 or 3 days
after my PPR. Also the home and mailing address are showing same although they are different. The addresses changed long time back
even b4 I got my PPR.

If you have included a prepaid Xpresspost return envelope, your passport will be returned using this envelope. If you did not provide a prepaid Xpresspost return envelope, your passport has been returned to you by regular mail.
