Thanks!
Did u send them any email, and did they reply? I sent them several emails but got no reply :( so sad.

We sent them 1 email. But they never replied to it. They mailed my passport on 9th April. My visa shows that my Visa was issued on Feb 26th. Maybe they take time in printing COPR. I really don't know why they take so long in returning the passports and COPRs. But ultimately they do. So all those are waiting for their passports just have faith in God.You guys will soon get your passports and COPRs. :)

Once you get your passport back from CPP-Ottawa, how much time thye give you to land in Canada ?

The expiration date on your landing visa is a date before your medicals were done. Eg if your medicals were done on July 12th 2012 the the expiration date on your landing visa will be July 11th 2013.

Thats why they rush for those people whose Medicals are expiring soon.

I landed last night, went through the Coutts/SweetGrass crossing. Everything went smoothly. Caution to folks flagpoling ensure all documentation is intact before you proceed to the border, apparently the CBSA isn't responsible for CIC landings. Didn't need all the documentation I had with me only CPR and I handed back my work permitn also got a lecture as to not colour photocopying my important documents. Officer was a little pissed off people come there to do landing. He had various excuses why it was dangerous and time consuming. He made a point about waiting an extra couple of weeks to land @ CIC offices in the city you reside instead of flagpoling. Overall 7hrs drive to and fro from Calgary nonstop, 1hr spent at both border agencies. Goodluck folks!!!

Congratulations bro. Did the states officers give you attitude?

Not at all, they waived me to park waited 10mins, got an escort to the canadian side. Then the questions began as to why the PM is on my GCMS, and I replied he is the MP of the area where I reside, questions about why I couldn't wait a couple weeks to land in Calgary when I hv already waited for 2years, which I repsonded to by saying to reducing my citizenship wait period. Questions about why what I read in school isn't relevant to what I'm currently doing as a job. A lecture on why immigrants should go through the right process. I spent 40 mins on the canadian side in total. I didn't get the welcome to Canada schpill. The officer might have been having a bad day but yh whatever. I found him amusing but I'm a resident now so who cares about all that.

This makes sense to me.....probably they are sending passports whose medicals are expiring soon ..

my medicals are going to expire in this September.......may be that is the reason for delay

It was a long time coming but my CoPR just arrived.
Does anyone know if I need to land before renewing my medical card and SIN? Otherwise I'd like to renew cards tomorrow and land this weekend.

He gave you a hard time. I rarely heard this kind of landing experience. Maybe you got there so late at night and he's not in working mood.
Anyway, congrats.

Im still waiting for my tracker activated ::)
