How long does it take CPP-O to stamp PR visas?

Did you write CPP-O?
I wrote them twice, they replied both my mails after 2 weeks or so. Reply came couple of days before they dispatch my PP. You may ask them that other people receive within couple of weeks, why it takes so long for you.

who ever not received passports back with in two or three weeks time frame,
you have to assume that, CIC is doing additional background checks based on our passport visa entries.

I red this in this forum or some other, some one contacted his/her MP and he got this message.

IS there anyone here who have experienced delay in passport returns can also confirm they have extensive travel history shown in their passport?

CPP-O received my passport on 2013/2/22. Until now I haven't got it back.

We did not have extenvise travel at all.

I got this reply yesterday ..My passport was received at cpp on 11th march .I don't have any travel history.

We have received your passport and your application is currently in queue to be finalized. Please note that we are unable to estimate the remaining processing time required for your application.

If you have included a prepaid Xpresspost return envelope, your passport will be returned using this envelope. If you have followed the instructions on the website and kept note of the tracking number, you should be able to follow its delivery on the Canada Post website.
If you did not provide a prepaid Xpresspost return envelope, your passport will been returned to you by regular mail.

Hi Guys,

I received my PP back today. They issued visa on Mar 14, but dispatched the PP on April 2nd. I don't know why did they keep my PP for additional two weeks after issuing visa.

Going to land tomorrow

Hope all of you will get PPs back very soon.

I received my Passport yesterday and the VISA was stamped back on March 13.. no idea what took them so long to mail it to me.

My passports are the same from beginning of application until now. We have not updated/renewed.
I really really expect them to send them back asap. I am nervous, worried, etc...

I did have my passport renewed, it expired in 2012 and renewed in December. Would that be a problem? I mean passports expires all the time shouldn't be a big deal. Giluy and Syed, did you guys get any type of confirmation or reply to ur emails?
