How long does it take CPP-O to stamp PR visas?

Did you mail them the receipt with your initial package as well or did you just email it to Cost Recovery? Because I believe they couldn't open my PDF file either since I haven't received confirmation of reception

Mine was sent Feb 8th and I recieved my COPR today; So I just have to cross the border to get my stamp

May I ask you what it says in the COPR please?

Every single day I check the tracking number couple of times to see if the passport was mailed back, I know the tracking number like it's my phone number now.. Talk to me about obsession!!

Hi All,
This is my story: very painful day last night.

I sent my passport on Feb'28th from Montreal and it is supposed to reach ottawa by March 1st thru canadapost. But there were no updates on their tracking system until 3 PM on 4th march. At 3PM Tracking system updated saying document is in transit at winnipeg ( ). Immediately I called canapost and created on high priority ticket to track why it went to winnipeg as we have passports on it and they said I have to wait another 24 hours to track it. By gods grace mypassports reached on 5th March at ottawa by around 8 A.M.

Now waiting for the magic moments.

My advise to everyone who will send passports to Ottawa, to let courier agent that documents contain passports and do not mis place it and keep on checking your tracking system. If it is not updating means something wrong...

According to canada post tracking sstem, The copy of my passport arrived 27th of Feb. So far I didn't hear back.

Are you from a Visa exempt country? If yes then you need to send just the PP copy.

Oh thank you. Yes you are right. I am from a visa exmpt country. Knowing the fact that it is almost finalized makes me feel even more desperate. How long more should we wait!!

So am I. I sent it on the 6th, and even if they mail it today, it'll have been more than a month when I receive it.

Oh well, I started the whole process in October freaking 2010, so another week or two doesn't hurt that much!

Did you email them and asked about the delay?
