How long does it take CPP-O to stamp PR visas?

Now THIS IS WEIRD!! Just half an hour after I emailed the MP, CIC emailed me saying that yes, your passport is here, and it is in the process... We will send it to you soon...

Although I had no idea that stamping a visa requires almost two months of hard working of dedicated CIC employees!!!!! I am still very happy that they moved their butt to reply on my email... So I know my passport is not lost !!!!!

To be fair, I think the strike just ended a week ago, so they'd have more people now to process immigration applications.

I got my medicals done on sept 27th. called doctor office they said they have sent the results electronically on oct 4th.. today is oct 10th.. but nothing yet.. ecas not updated.. what do you guys think??

My lawyers just received my passport with COPR....damn..... thank God...the journey is about to be over...ahuuuuuuu

I sent it on the 19th of september they got it today...ahuuuuu i get it in my hands saturday...ahuuuuu landing landing landing!!!!

Finally my brethren/s picked up my passport at the Post office today. Strange that my tracker wasn't activated but when checking the envelope I noticed that it was not the return envelope I had sent. They sent it in a different Xpresspost envelope. The tracker number is totally different than what I was using to track. Anyway I am relieved now. Patience is really a virtue. Best wishes to everyone in this forum who did not receive passports yet. Fiso I prayed for ya and I believe you will get yours soon.All the best.Looking now to go to the Canadian/US border to do my landing.

I don't know if it is "legal" or not... But they are sticking to mine for two months so far...

so I contacted my MP and she said that the visa is printed today on my passport but not mailed... so I am wondering how long do they take to mail the passport???? please help me guys??
