How long can the letter of explanation be?

Hi, I'm feeling the need to explain a lot of things in the letter of explanation, it has gone to 4 pages. Is it bad?
How long can the letter of explanation be? Can a lengthy letter of explanation negatively impact my application?

Ugh, Shorten it as long as you can. Only neccessities. There is no limit except for the upload 4MB.

I'm also thinking to attach my senior secondary certificate as that period is included in my personal history. Should I include that below the letter of explanation in the LOE section?

Yes!! CIC is awarding you the score for your highest degree. They are not interested in getting the senior secondary certificate. Even if you are really interested to send it to them it should be a part of your educational documents upload place holder ..

You can make it as long as you want. You can also add the entirety of War and Peace to it, if you so desire. ;D

I actually got three situations to explain. Therefore, I have three separate letters for each situation (i.e LOE1, LOE2 and LOE3) and merged them into one PDF file of 3 pages. Is that ok or do I have to explain all three issues in just one letter?

What ever you do, Make it easy for a visa officer to understand.

Well it is matter of perspective.. I will call them as three topics under three main titles in a single letter. You are calling them 3 different letter all merged together ..

You will be fine anyway. No worries. CIC does not restrict people with the formatting of LoE.

Yeah, This is what I mean.

However, what you are doing is equally good (or may be even more good) as there is no restriction and no CIC Formal LoE formatting guidelines (I am not aware, if there are any !)

Typed one is Preferred !!

Hand written , if and only if your handwriting is 100% better than mine !!! Mine is like when you insert an ant in the ink pot and request her to do the job !!
