Do you mean University of Manitoba or the province in general (weather wise or something in particular)? Better if you are more specific.
province and in general for any new student for bachelor's degree for everything, food, culture, atmosphere, weather etc
Do you like the cold? Winter for 6 months. Need a lot of warm clothes. What type of culture? Winnipeg has a large indigenous population. Food - use google.
What program do you have an approved study permit for? As for future prospects research Manitoba PNP if you want PR. Don't leave the province and get a job with job offer.

So what do you want to know. What school? Winnipeg is very cold in winter. If you have never experienced winters then Winnipeg winters are on a whole other level. Will you have a car or relying on transporation. Downtown can be very sketchy especially in the evenings. The job market depends on your skills, who you know and you need to get networking. Food - you can find good restaurants. Culture/sports - there is theatre, opera, NHL, CFL, festivals, the Forks, museums.
