Any job that will allow me to stay in Toronto or Vancouver. Any entry level position including unskilled labour will do. I want to go as a visitor and look for work, any work. I have a full sleeve tattoo and a inner forearm tattoo on the other arm.

It's quite difficult since many / most employers are not willing to go through the LMIA process. There's also no easy way to find employers who are willing to go through the process.

If you plan to try, make sure you have enough money saved to live in these cities for at least six months withouit working and without having coverage for any social services, including health care. And check out rental prices in advance. They are very high. For example, single rooms in shared accommodations in Toronto are going for over $1,000 per month right now. Vacancies are also extremely low. This applies to both cities.

Yes, the $1,000 is Canadian. Montreal will be less but you really need to be able to speak French if you want to try to find a job there. If you speak French fluently, then you can try Montreal.

You can try Montreal if you feel you can communicate fairly fluently. Otherwise language will be a further barrier to securing an LMIA supported job.

Regardless where you go, make sure you have enough savings to get you through at least six months in Canada without working and you will also want to buy private health care insurance to provide coverage for any emergencies (health care costs in Canada are very high if you are not covered under the provincial system). You will need to pay for all non emergency care out of pocket.

Securing a job offer supported by an LMIA will be difficult no matter where you go. Also be prepared for the possibility that you won't be successful and will need to return to the US.
