How experience is calculated for Canada immigiration

Hi All,

Please anyone can explain, how experience is calculated for General Canada immigiration and SINP program.
1. Total Years of experience (or)
2. Recent years experience (for example if we have gap for past 1 year then those year will be deducted)

Whatever duration is the time you spent alive while being on a payroll of a company = Countable work experience.
