They look at start date, end date, and if your hours are more than the required. Pretty simple.Goku said:How does VO determine whether 1 year is completed or not ??
Goku said:I need a specific answer. Pay stubs can help you calculate hours. T4 forms proves that you were paid; EI and Income tax was deducted by lawyer and you were not self employed. Employment reference Letter: Yes it can prove both hours and a year completed but I need concrete answer.

I am applying in next few weeks since I'll gain 1 year of experience on May 6.
I have T4 and NOA for 2013. Do I have to send them all my pay stubs for this year, or reference letter saying hours and pay will be good enough?
You mean for Jan 2014-May 2014 ? If so then just attach last paystub which will have YTD income. No harm in sending a copy of all paystubs.
Thanks
Goku said:Yes Reference letter said I worked 40 hour but I was working around 50 hours a weeks for couple of months. All leave were paid. But how they confirm that all leave were paid or not ?
An allowance for a reasonable period of vacation time will generally be made in calculating the period of qualifying work experience (e.g., a two-week period of paid vacation leave within a given 52-week period in which the applicant was engaged in qualifying work experience).
