I need a specific answer. Pay stubs can help you calculate hours. T4 forms proves that you were paid; EI and Income tax was deducted by lawyer and you were not self employed. Employment reference Letter: Yes it can prove both hours and a year completed but I need concrete answer.

i dont get it by what u mean u need a concrete answer?
of course your reference letter start date and end date will determine if u have completed a yr. and ur 12 monthly pay stubs will determine that u have worked 12 full months .nobody gets paid monthly if u havent worked for them unless and until it is arranged !!!

They look at start date, end date, and if your hours are more than the required. Pretty simple.

because the thing is I forgot to attach couple of copies of my pay stub in which I was paid for sick leave/Vacation. It was just 3(1 in Oct.'13 & 2 in Nov.'13) days of sick leave I took. I just don't want them to think that it was unpaid leave.

Here you go,

1) First, they will check your work permit ( if closed work permit then it is mentioned about occupation details, company info, expiry date etc.) or open work permit

here they can track with your client id whether you are here for 1 ,2 or 3 years etc....in Canada. It may be deduct your in/out trip duration.

2) now you are eligible to work in Canada for 1 years then go to below steps.

3) 1 Year Experience can be analyzed based on your occupation/jobs/role/salary etc...
  • T4 (T4 can more than 1 if you have changed jobs in year but only possible for open work permit people),
  • NOA ( T4 given by company but you submitted tax to GOV or not if yes then people will get NOA that means everything is ok in terms of T4),
  • Reference Letter (work duration, hours, salary, jobs/role etc..) , LMO letter.

4) supporting documents Salary slip, bank statements.

I don't have answer in details as application is case by case. We have to provide necessary information to VO.

Correct. Unless there are red flags (e.g. major out of country travel), they would not dig deeper.

Read in thread that some people got rejected because they were short of 1-2 days for completion of 1 year. That's why I want to know how they figure out that they were short of 2 days.

Does your reference letter state that you worked full-time (30+ hours per week) for more than 12 months? Was all leave paid? If so, then I don't see the problem. Pay stubs are optional; I certainly didn't submit any.

I have a question too.

I am applying in next few weeks since I'll gain 1 year of experience on May 6.

I have T4 and NOA for 2013. Do I have to send them all my pay stubs for this year, or reference letter saying hours and pay will be good enough?

Thanks

Yes Reference letter said I worked 40 hour but I was working around 50 hours a weeks for couple of months. All leave were paid. But how they confirm that all leave were paid or not ?

You mean for Jan 2014-May 2014 ? If so then just attach last paystub which will have YTD income. No harm in sending a copy of all paystubs.

Thanks

Yes, I am asking about the 2014 part. I don't have all pay stubs, I lost few of them..

So I should ask for a copy from accountant, just reference letter isn't enough?

It's assumed that any full-time position includes a reasonable amount of paid leave, and they do allow for it. From OP 25a:

An allowance for a reasonable period of vacation time will generally be made in calculating the period of qualifying work experience (e.g., a two-week period of paid vacation leave within a given 52-week period in which the applicant was engaged in qualifying work experience).

Pay stubs might be useful to them in certain cases, for example someone who works irregular hours to demonstrate how many total hours they worked.
