So, i had previously applied under CEC, got rejected because 1 year was not complete.
I am applying again under FSW.

Option A

If i mention all of my work experience, system might calculate incomplete 1 year Canadian experience and make me eligible for CEC, which i don't want.

Option B

Only mention FSW experience and not to mention Canadian experience, so definitely i will get eligible under that.

** I will mention about all of my Work experience under personal history regardless.

Should i go with option A, B or C if you have any ?

Thanks ;)

If you have enough points without including your Canadian work experience, then go with that option (this will also save you time and effort).

But generally, if you say that you're bringing more than the minimum amount of funds, the system will count as FSW, even if you have Canadian work experience.

oh good to know. Since, i don't qualify for CEC i won't be getting those additional points. With FSW I'll be at 475 instead of 515(CEC) and i do have enough POF to show.

Thank you

Thats it just go for it.

Changes were made in March. Anyone eligible for both CEC and FSW gets ITA under CEC.

Thanks for letting me know about this.

But it doesn't make a difference to OP, as they're not eligible under CEC anyway.

That was just to make everyone aware. That is why I did not quote anyone :D

Little bit confused tho, how can you have 40 extra points for being CEC?

40 points for 1 year of Canadian work experience.

Are we talking about CRS score? Working experience should be calculated the same way under CEC and FSW. I don't see any difference.

Thanks for replies, however lots of contradicting answers lol

So i want my profile to be selected as FSW not CEC. EE profile system calculate work experience from month to month not day to day and with that flaw i accepted last ITA (CEC) and got rejected.
This time i want to selected as FSW since i am mentioning all of my Work experiences.

one of the option was to put more than required funds to be selected as FSW, i guess that's not the option anymore.
other is to not to mention Canadian work experience at all in work history but mention in personal history only.

Go with Option B, mention foreign work experience to qualify. Post ITA mention the Canandian work experience under Personal History.

Why would you want to go FSW so badly? You could score far more CRS points by adding a year of eligible Canadian working experience. And once you are in the EE, CRS is the only thing matters.

I know that, but i don't qualify for CEC. I have less than 1 year of work experience.

The best way is:

create your profile with foreign exp only, wait for ITA, as per current trend its more than 482 since last 3 months. I think in coming next 2-3 months, you will be eligible for CEC too, so include your experience when you complete your full 1 year of Canadian Exp (52 weeks). Your updated profile will give you 515 points as you claimed.
