Hi, i am currently trying for student visa in Canada for PG Diploma in computer field. At the moment I've just done my ielts. My qualifications are:

10th: 64% CBSE (Year 2009)

12th: Failed (Year 2011)- Due to medical reasons, have medical certificate.

Polytechnic diploma in CS: 57% (Year 2011-2014) Have quite a lot of reappears, probably 15. Completed within the given 3 years.

BTECH in CS: 64.8% (Year 2014-2017) Have 5 reappears. Completed within the given 3 years.

1.5 years work experience from may 2018 to current in relevant field.

IELTS: 7.5 Overall L(8.5) R(7.5) W(6.5) S(6.5)

I'm looking to study PG diploma in mobile applications or web development or other computer related fields in case i don't get my preferred one.

My worry is that will those backlogs severely affect my chances and do i only have to provide backlog certificate for my degree or diploma too? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

PROVIDE ALL INFO for backlogs and your academic history (both diploma and degree). it is explicitly stated that you must do so.

for the backlogs no one can say for sure how the vo sees it. but if you want some consolation just note that there were people on this forum previously with over 20+ backlogs. i saw one guy with over 40 backlogs (idk why he bothered attending school) but i do not know whether he got the permit/visa.

for the 20+ guys, some of them did.

make sure to explain why you still wish to study again even though you already have a job (stable career?)
My backlogs in diploma are mostly because it wasn't the course i wanted to do at first. My main passion was animations and graphics but just like what other indian parents do, they forced me to go for this. I know i cannot explain this in my sop.

As for my career, I'm not really satisfied with my current job and feel like i should study more and explore my field even further.

I checked all over the internet and best i could find was that even if the college accepts the application, vo can deny it. I've seen people that had 20+ backlogs go and settle in Canada but they went before 2019, between 2014 and 2016.
