It shouldn't be an issue as you seem to be the only applicant in your application.
You can get COPR before July 13. But nobody can be sure about it. It may take up to a couple of weeks longer.

Your case is fast! Wondering if it's because the medical expiring that VO is speeding the case.

Yes, the CIC HK Office called me before said that they will speed up my case as my medical will be expired on Sept 23 2016.

Now, the COPR is really bother me as my husband hired Canadian Lawyer to handle our immigration application. I'm worried CIC HK office will mail my COPR to the lawyer instead of my home address even though the online system is shown my HK address....but you never know..

I pray for everyday now and check the mail right after postman left the building.....

July 7 is the deadline to change my ticket....finger-crossed :'(

Good to know that HK VO is willing to speed up your case instead of asking your for re-medical. Good luck on your COPR!

Are you visa-exempt? If yes, then just go and when COPR arrives, have someone mail to you, and you flagpole to land. But by entering as visitor, you will need return ticket instead of one-way ticket.

As for mailing of COPR, if you used a representative, it is likely that gets sent to the lawyer. If you really want to make sure it gets sent to your HK address, then you should cancel your lawyer as your representative at this point.

Your COPR could be quick...can arrive tomorrow for all you know. But you are risking it by not having the COPR in the first place. What happens if the COPR has a mistake on it?

Hi all,

Just got the DM.

The following is a brief timeline.

1. CIC received 4 Feb 2015
2. Sponsor eligible 25 Apr 2015
3. Additional document confirmed receive 30 May 2016
4. Case finish assessment 22 Jun 2016
5. DM 7 Jul 2016. total 519 days from date of application or 17.3 months.

This is the worst case scenario for a couple married over 20 years with 2 kids.

But we have to live with the Canadian sloppiness. I would like to remind those still in the process to keep asking the MP, cCas and phone the CIC to get update answer.

I am still waiting for the CORP and hopefully within the next 2 to 3 weeks.

Any early April applicants got updates after linking your case to mycic? The VO just requested RCMP criminal check from my wife since she's been here for more than 6 months and her background check become "in process"
