For your landing issue: if you already in Canada, you are able to do landing WITHIN Canada CIC office. Example : Vancouver downtown or Surrey in BC.
An information letter attaching your CORP shows the procedure in detail. But an appointment takes more than 4 weeks time.

Yes. it updated to DM. No information is updated inside though. It still says CIC sent request for medical. lol

Yes, I will be sending it to Ottawa. Now to figure out how to land. No US Visa. Scared that doing it in the states will leave bad record on file, then harder to get visa.... Maybe trip to Europe?

I believe they are going to send me mail for both med and police check soon.
I also applied for the note since i want to know why it takes so long to process my application.
My case is straight forward and I have been with my hubby for 10 years and have lived together for 6 years.

Me too. I knew my husband for 10 years, and got married for 8 years, still takes long...HKVO will receive police cert after 2 weeks. I wish they could issue PPR asap so that I don't need to re-do medical....

I have a question for the IP applicants before March, what does it say on your ECAS? Is it close to your AOR2 date or it's close to the date when your ECAS changed to IP?

I'm wondering if CIC has updated the ECAS system to the new IP, I wanna order notes when my case is actually in IP and since I'm a early March applicant I think it's getting close they start processing my case but now they changed the system and I can't tell if it's IP or not...........I just wanna know how I can tell when CIC is processing the case :/

Maybe I should wait till the end of the month that a bit more than 5 months of waiting after AOR2 to order the notes :s

For me regarding the AOR 2 is April 21st, 2015. However in my eCas my process started March 31, 2015. That means the day HKVO received the file and then by on April 21st issued me an e-mail to let me know. Since my eCas just turn IP, I think it is the old IP (last Friday), which means they are just start the real processing. Do you think this sounds correct ?

Therefore I think CIC is also starting to process your case, but base on the new IP and old IP, there must be some in-between people also. I see an effort on VO to change everyone to IP status. Base on the current processing time for HKVO to be 11 month and since my application date was in Jan, I do think I will hear from them in Nov/Dec for additional documents or decisions.

The above just my view to share, I could be off totally.

I guess you read my comments wrong, I was wondering if everyone's (applicants before May 2015)ecas shows the new IP (about the date of AOR2)now, I did get AOR2 letter informing the file has been transferred to HKVO.

I do know that I have to wait and HKVO is working on Dec. Jan and interview of Oct. Nov.Dec. applicants, but my question is the ECAS, because the applicants after May has new IP, and those before had the old IP and then on October 9th the applicant's before May whose ECAS have been showing Application received changed to IP which is the new IP ,I'm not sure if everyone's ECAS changed or maybe some remains application received, and for those Nov. Dec. Jan. who all ready got IP before October 9th, I would like to know if their IP date have also changed.

Because before 9th, the applicant's before May still has the old IP, I was planning on ordering notes when I get IP, but now it seems like it has changed to the new one, I don't know how I can tell when my case is actually in process so I can order notes and maybe there's a clue we know that was why I asked the former applicant's IP still shows the date HKVO starts processing it or the date closer to AOR2.

I kinda doubt it's the old one since almost the whole month of March and includes the former applicants' changed to IP on the same day, and from the 2015 spreadsheet, Ottawa and New Delhi VO also changed a bunch of people's ecas (from January all the way to May, four months' applications) to IP on October 9th.

I guess maybe we can never tell when our cases are actually in process anymore

Yeah we are June 22nd applicant and we have not received AOR2 yet. I believe not everyone receives an AOR2 (or I sure hope so!).
