Correct. No need to send China police certificate. You could make it very clear by saying "Not Applicable - I was never in PRC for six months or longer since the age of 18."

yay, thanks sno much, i already sent my documents to CIC " Case Specific Enquiry – Hong Kong "

and just received their confirmation mail said received my enquiry, but not confirm me don't do the China police certificate.

Am I keep to wait their confirmation?

I just learned recently that you can submit the passport PDF files to the enquiry system online!! Congrats on the DM :))

Means that no need to send the "Original Passport" to CIC? we can submit the passport PDF files to the enquiry system online?

Do you hold a Hong Kong SAR passport? Is so then you don't have to send the original passport, you submit the PDF online that's good but if you want you can also submit the copies of the passport pages, sill no need to send the original passport if you hold a Hong Kong SAR passport.

You sent them your Hong Kong police certificate, as you followed instructions and were in Hong Kong more than 6 months since the age of 18.
You made a statement that you were never in PRC more than 6 months since the age of 18. So you followed instructions that did NOT require the police certificate and made a statement so CIC knows you didn't just ignore the instruction.
So you complied and were told they received your case enquiry.
Bukeke said don't expect feedback for about a month.
So that's it. Wait.

Hey Ian,

Congrats on the PPR!

I forgot if I asked you, did HKVO ever ask for your HK police cert after AOR2? (Or have you ever submitted the HK police cert?)

What's your status? I still not received anything about requesting police cert, and I don't have AOR2 that HK police needs that in order to apply police cert. I am stuck in IP status...it's already 3 weeks since changed to IP in eCAS. Waiting is such a hardtime...

Hi! Congrats on the passport request! I'm putting on your timeline on the spreadsheet if you don't mind, would you please share what passport you hold (Mainland/ Hong Kong/Taiwan) and when did you do your medical? I assume the eCAS still shows IP that was what I put in it but please feel free to change the incorrect info. We need more timeline share for the follow applicants that they'll have better idea of their cases, thank you so much!

I can feel you, bukeluke.
I resigned 2 months ago since my work permit was expired.
I am just studying at home and waiting for it.
I was planning to get it by the end of Sept so that I can go back to work asap. ><
