:'(Just received a sad news. My MP told me that My application is currently in the interview queue.
Hi Bambooc,

I don't think it is necessarily bad news. At least you know where you are and you may have a good chance to convince the VO in your interview. Be positive!
I emailed my MP too. Hope I will find out more about our case soon. I guess we are likely in the interview queue as well.

I am sad about the interview will delay my case, which means longer separation. This is torturing part of the process.

How can VO put your application into interview queue without changing your status to IP first??? If this is the case, does it imply everyone has the IP status will likely to get the approval without an interview?

True!
My MP quickly got back to me yet he said the processing time was 20 months so this was too early for him to intervene...
I hope both of us receive the interview request very soon!

Hi

I have a question, does anyone know what is the average waiting time between Decision Made and Passport Request ? Because after i got DM, i haven't heard anything from them yet.

Thanks a lot !

It normally takes 1-2 weeks to ask for your passport (PPR). What passport you are holding for PA ?

hoe you can get the good news soon...

your status changes to IP after the interview if you are recommended for one

If this is the case, does it imply everyone has the IP status will likely to get the approval without an interview?
if you are IP that means your interview has been waived for sure 99%

Ours changed to IP almost immediately after our application got to Hong Kong. With the processing time now showing 20 months I am not going to be 99% sure about interview waived, but I can be 99% optimistic.

In May 2015 it took 10 months to process 80% of applications and in July 2015 it takes 20 months? It is not feasible mathematically, unless the 20% of applications left over from BEFORE July 2014 (May 2015 - 10 months which left unprocessed) are now comprising 80% of ALL applications received from November 2013 (July 2015 - 20 months) till now.
So unless the number of applications in the last 2 years was going down by over 50% year over year it would not make any sense. And if it actually does - it means just the opposite - faster processing times for everyone whoever applied in the last year , as the number of new applications is very small.
The most logical answer is that it is just a mistake, either calculation mistake or upload mistake, for example someone uploading FSW timelines oin the spousal category. Even the timing of the update is questionable as the next quarterly update was supposed to be on August, 20th
