PPR email gives you the website address of Beijing VAC where it says the fees. As I remember, my wife paid by Union Pay at her Chinese bank using the name and codes explained on the VAC website for mail-in. She included the form given to her at the bank as proof of payment. No extra return envelope needed. Pay cash at the post office just for the sending to Beijing VAC one way. The website has a phone number if still confused.
Hello all,

My Chinese wife just got an email from CIC requesting to mail in her passport within the next 30days.
The Beijing VAC website you're referring to, is it www.vfsglobal.ca/Canada/China?

Thanks

btw, I worked out a total of 199.8RMB? is that the right amount to pay?
Congrats!

My wife got the same email requesting to mail in her passport to Beijing.
I was wondering how U got the total of 199.80 rmb?

I got 154.10 + 39.80 (courier) = 193.90?

The website is confusing because it lists other services with different fees.

Thx

I think it should be 139.60+ 39.80(Courier) + a government fee of 20.40= 199.80
It's just my guess

I thought the 139.60 is for electronic applications?

Secure transmission of passport to the Embassy of Canada in China upon request by visa office (for example, electronic application) Price per Passport $ 31.03 CNY 139.60

It will say on the visa, but usually is the expiry date of the medical.

Hello,

My wife did her medical in two parts both via e-medical:

Oct2015 she did everything except for the X-ray because of her prenancy
Dec2015 she did the X-ray after giving birth

I wonder which date they will use?

Logically I would expect the earlier date as data would be one year old by that date. You will know about 3 weeks after sending passport in.
