I called VAC in beijing, they said the total is 179.40RMB...I am so confused...lol...

Yeah it is 179.40 now. Fees changed from February 10 when we paid 199.80. My wife confirmed to me a moment ago that June applicants in her QQ chat group have been successfully paying 179.40. :)

Hello all,

Just To confirm for the package to be mail to Beijing VAC for the PR visa for my wife's application.

I have the followings:

1-her chinese passport
2-a copy of the email from CIC requesting her passport
3-two photos both stamped by the photographer (one with her full name and DOB)
4-the bank's payment receipt for the VAC service fee
5-a separate sheet with her address in chinese characters, her cell number and her email address
6-a copy of the payment receipt for the spousal application fee of $1040CDN (which we already paid when we submitted the app)

Is there anything else I need to add to the package?

Thank you!

I edited this answer since the first quick response. Number 3 also needs the date photo taken and the name and address of the photographer's studio. It doesn't have to be stamped so it can be written in as long as it is not a stick-on label. In China the photographer might not have a stamp of their address in English. The embassy doesn't know if you wrote it in rather than the photographer. The second photo back can be blank.

The rest looks correct and complete to me.

if you have already paid $1040 and submitted the receipt when you submit the application, you don't have to include the receipt this time. the email says, if not yet paid, then you need a receipt

My wife application just got DMed, but I haven't received any email. Do you know how long it usually take?

Thanks

Your wife would be the one to get an email. It could be there when she wakes up on Tuesday or any day in the near future. :)

Congrats duriandidi

My wife called the Beijing VAC and confirmed the fee is 179.40 for the service fee.

Hello all, does anyone know how long will it take for the passport request to come through after submitting medical examination and police clearance?
