Yes mostly but if you can convince your employer why not take a chance . But there have male home support for worker.

Thanks for replay, I am preparing for 2023 opening and I am male hoping for child caregiver work, 2022 opening was closed. What about you.

Waiting for AOR.
In the other thread someone said waiting times for AOR can be up to 9 months?
Wow that's long.
Anyways fingers crossed we hear from them as soon as possible.

It was so long in 2020 but this year hopefully will get in 80 days

Because my courier notified me and my agent from the Nanny agency told me to send it by courier specifically for this reason
In case the envelope got lost we could locate it etc.
I also have a name of the person who signed the receipt at delivery.

Hello does anyone have any information on the pathway to permanent resident through caregiver? I know the program closed for a while and they did an overhaul I also heard it reopened recently and is accepting almost 3000 per year. I am having trouble finding updated information. Any help or insight is appreciated thanks.

If you want to submit your file you need to prepare in 2022 (complete file) and submit in 2023 (online)
For this you need to find all information from official Canada website or just hire a consultant for this.

Pathway is that you will get work permit ( restricted to your work like nanny or home support) after completing 2 years in Canada you need to submit your work experience you will get PR.
For family
Spouse will get open work permit
Child will get study permit
