Very well then and please, do you know how long it would take for me to pass this medicals after submitting the pof and health care plan. I’ve done my medicals since 29th of October and received the additional documents message on the 26th .That was 2 days ago
I know there are backlogs when it comes to medicals being reviewed so it’s impossible to tell how long it will take. Would assume a month or two but that’s just a guess.

The medicals was completed October 29 but it changed to ‘in review’ by November 12. I believe it’s almost done, hence the reason for the request of health care plan and pof to support it

I got passport request in February 8, waiting for ircc to send it back to me. Is the access to drugs easy once I have my insurance sorted?

Hi
The application has been approved. It’s just to get my passport stamped and sent back so I can travel
Congratulations Viasta,
Could you please share your timeline, especially with the test being requested?

Hi qtbh1995,

Could you also please share your timeline and status at the moment? I just tested today for Hepatitis C&B and IGRA.

Hope to receive your information.

Thank you very much Viasta.
As I think I will go through the same procedure , especially the medical plan in Canada. Could I ask you for a favor to share with me such letter to justify your medical plan in Canada? You can absolutely hide all your information. That would help a lot.
Thank you very much.

I completed my master in Canada and when I applied for my study visa that time in medical exam I discovered my HIV+ health issue. I am currently working in an reupdated company as Senior Manager in Canada. I started taking medicine after that. Right now I have CD4 around 870+ and undectable. I am taking Biktarvy that costs around 4500 CAD dollars/month. I am getting this medicine under province medical for free. I checked on CIC website per person medical expense are around 21000 CAD/year by government, but mine are around 50000 dollar/year. I am applying for my Permanent residency through express entry and my CRS score is around 510. I want to know that my medical expenses will make me medical inadmissible for PR or not?

Yes your medical costs could create a problem for securing PR. Given your position
I would imagine you should have an extended health benefit plan. Getting your medication through your own private insurance versus the taxpayer would be a good first step. Showing that you are not relying on taxpayer program would be the first argument that you are not taxing the public healthcare system. Still not guaranteed but an argument that other have used in other conditions.

Hello everyone, myself from India, Bangalore age 33 Male - Single. I know that this got to me at an earlier stage but I know my life wont stop here.
I am trying to apply to study visa in Canada. I dream to study in Canada that's i applied for universities and i got admit at Edmonton state for PGDM. but i didn't disclose to university people that i have HIV+.

I have been HIV positive for 3 years and have been undetectable on VRLD-0 & CD4 count 800+ and healthy and going to GYM daily and keep myself FIT and strong .
As some members have said, for HIV positive applicants, their profile must be strong by showing admission from a any university. However, as I have finished my bachelor degree and having 10 years of work experience.

Can you guys please tell me what should I do and how can HIV applicants apply to? Has anyone living with HIV have successfully get study visa? Please help me. Thank you guys. If anyone got approved study visa & please help me to understand and support me my rest of my life.

Please request you to help me and guide to get into Canada for studies please. I never forget the person who can lift my hand from the bad sutivations. just need only information support and gaudiness.

Looking forward the support dear friends.

Help me on my quires on request :
can i go for studies without saying any HIV+ thing to visa process and stay and do part-time while study visa ?

Important : I can get my medicines pills from India ART -Naco center. they can send courier every 6 months of pills at a time so can i get pills from India when i was in Canada on courier process so is that good ?

Thankyou
Lucky

Hello, how did you sort insurance for your drugs, or did you have to pay out of pocket?

Look at the international student health care plan for your province and see what coverage is. Most Canadians pay for drugs unless pay for private insurance or employer has a health plan.
