alanine aminotransferase (ALT) or SGPT higher Levels without having any Hepatitis ( A,B,C and HBsAg) abnormality/Negative can lead to problems in medicals ?

Please share views , I am yet to go for medicals .

i dont think they look into that as I have high ALT and AST but due to medication was it was on decline for last 2 months.

I got PPR few days back ,Passport already on its way to CIC.

I hope that would help you in reducing some tension , drink lots of water before test and go for urine before going for test.

Realx ... ..

I have received a copy of medical reports from physician,,, and I went through all of them... they don't test liver enzymes....;

Thanks , was it high when you took the medicals you mean ?

I thought they just test for HIV for the blood test? So they wouldn't know this unless you tell them. You might wanna be honest, though. Because if somehow down the line they find out, they can accuse you of withholding information...

That's what I thought as well and after the doctor specifically told me the same. But as per the medical practitioner's handbook, the tests for ALS etc. are indeed in place. The doc had asked me if I am taking any medications or any health problems I have. I answered no, and he checked two boxes in his sheet (no idea what sheet that was). Maybe, if one says yes then additional tests required? Who knows..

Do you take medications for it?

What I wanted to Know is if in medical my ALT comes high , and I am sure that I am negative for ( hepatitis A , B , C and HBsAg) as I have done Tests recently , Will that make me Inadmissible ? Would request if seniors or knowledgeable person on the context can answer in YES or NO .
