Help with parents visitor visa

Hello all,
I need help with my parents visitor visa application. My parents are coming to US for about 45 days trip to visit my brother. I want them to visit us in Canada. We both are full time and on PR. But when I checked online for processing times its about 15 days in US and in India. I cant apply in India for Visit visa as their travel date is near. For applying in Los Angeles, USA - am worried that immigration officer will question their intention as they are coming only for 45 days and in those 45 days they want to come to Canada? Even though if I want to apply for their visa in LA- I should apply right after they land in US.

How far this is workable?

Not really sure, if I should apply for visa in US or not?

There's no guarantee their application will be processed in 15 days if submitted from the US. It's quite possible it might take a few months. Having said that, you can always try applying and see what happens.

Typically it's better to apply for a visitor visa from your home country.

if they can prove reason of visit is genuine they can apply even in the US.

It all depends how to convince the visa offer...Good luck...no harm in trying than not trying at all.
