Yes, worse comes to worse you may have to pay extra for restoration fee. When does your study permit expire?
My study permit expires today, March 31st, 2018. The worst thing is not restoration fee or the time I need to wait, it is I will lose my job which I spent 6 month to get it!!!!!!:(

I hope it all works but once you had completed your studies you should have applied for the work permit right away!

Once you completed the academic portion. What do you sit around 3months for?

For preparing the interviews since I am a new comer .

From what I understand yes Jan 10, 2018 is your official completion date. But since you already applied to PGWP, just wait for CIC updates. Nothing you can do now anyways.

I have a similar confusion. My last day of the semester was April 27th. But I received my Transcript after 2 weeks say 8th May. And my official completion letter on May 14th. Although issued on May 14th the letter states that " The award date as shown on student's transcript is April 27."

I have difficulty understanding when would my 90 day period begin, from April 27(last day of school), May 8 (the day I received my transcript), or May 14th (the day I got official letter of completion).

Please advise.

Why on earth did you wait this long to apply? You really have no choice at this point but to submit your PGWP application and hope for the best.

Could you clear up my confusion? It would really help.
If the 90 day period begins from your last day of college. i still applied on the 90th day. I called cic they said 90th day is still within the time frame. But if the 90 day period starts from the day i got my transcript I would be a little safer i guess.

Your 90 days starts when you receive your transcripts. You are still eligible for PGWP as 90 days hasn't passed yet but make sure you have everything for your second PGWP application.

I did not get any email notification and I failed to check my account. They asked for my completion letter and diploma. I have uploaded everything this time. Should I make a note as an explanation for why it was refused the first time?
Also is there any way to make the application process faster like specific case inquiry?

You can include an explanation. And no there is no way to make the process go faster. It will be processed just like everybody else.

I have also heard a letter of explanation sometimes works negatively. Is there any truth in that?

No a explanation letter doesn't hurt an application

There were 2 part time semesters during my period of study. But that was not mentioned anywhere in the refusal letter. Do you think it would be a problem this time or I will get it because they said I did not provide documents and I am uploading everything this time?
