Hi, so I have a situation here.

I am here with my student permit and I will have to do my internship for my course from next week which is mandatory in order to graduate.

I got an approval letter for my co-op permit online on February 14th (today is March 3rd) and still haven't received the actual paper to my house. However, I put the wrong 1 digit for my postal code which maybe the reason why it takes extra time.
I already called IRCC regarding this situation but they confirmed that they already shipped it on February 14th.
The document is untraceable and they won't be able to take any action within 6 weeks after they shipped.

My problems here is;
1. I put wrong 1 digit for postal code. (Right street number, city name, province, just a postal code)
2. My internship starts next week. Even though I got a approval letter online, I still haven't received an actual paper from IRCC.

So my question here is;
1. Am I able to work without an actual paper as I already have a legal right to do my internship?
2. If you put the wrong postal code, how long it usually take Canada Postal Office to ship it?

Thank you so much.

You have been approved, so yes, you can work.

It generally doesn't cause much of a delay, as they can usually deduce the correct address from the rest of the info, but it may be lost.
