Havn't yet change my status online in to "process"

Why not my spousal's application status has not yet changed into "Process"yet.It's been over an month.When my spouse sent to CHC-ISB to documents which they asked by her?

Dont worry so much about your ecas status it is not that accurate and it is never up to date.Sometimes they dont change it ever until you have landed.my wifes has been in process the whole time has never changed.

Some visa offices are slower than others with the change to 'in process'. Buffalo people have been waiting 6-9 weeks or more.

apparently e-CAS is for processing in Canada only. Not all the visa offices use the e-CAS updates to inform the applicants/sponsors.

don't worry so much about an online status, and if you are truly concerned, and you are approaching the end of the maximum processing time for your visa office, then you can send that office an email (or however they ask to be contacted) to check on your application. You can also order your CAIPS notes.

But lots of people never see 'in process' on e-CAS because not all IOs update e-CAS while processing applications.
