Have a job offer but dont have experience

Hello,

Im in canada right now with a pgwp. My visa will expire in 1 yr and 6 months. I know an employer who's willing to sponsor me as a nanny but I don't have any caregiver experience inside or outside canada. What should I do? Do I need to have previous experience before applying for permanent visa? Is that something they check in order to be qualified? Pls help

Work as an in-home caregiver/PSW for a year then send in your PR application.

Also, did you try Express Entry?

Hello, I did not try express entry because I didn't have any experience in noc 0,A,B jobs. Although I have more than 1 yr experience of industrial butcher (noc code 94141) and I almost applied for oinp but the employer decided not to help us last minute because it's not in the contract and they said its under company discretion. I graduated in tourism program last 2020.
