This is laughable if not sad I received an email from CIC that they received my application on July 11th. Nice to know that after 5 months LOL. It is now 65 days since they received the updated from requested Oct 8th and still no SA. It sure would be a nice Xmas gift to get

That's good news though!That means SA is just around the corner!!! I'm on 72 days now so I'm praying to God that something is coming to me soon too. I don't know why we have had such shitty luck Hope it's smooth sailing for u after this!

i think we all need to stay positive, its the end of the year and holiday season! lets keep calm and carry on with the wait. i wish you alll a speedy answer (along with myself - of course) but i think the VO and CIC is busy this month.

Here's some news... I got my notes today. Can't say it made me any happier, but some so-so news is better than nothing...

Here's some highlights:
Interview recommended on 9/26
More information required for Schedule A #8 on 9/26(we gave his history from 2000-2014 as it said the last 10 years, now they want from 1993 to present). My husband has not heard from them requesting this information as of yet.


Eligibility is in progress
Security is not started
Criminality is in progress
Medical is not started

So, my best guess, is once they finish the eligibility, security, criminality and medical, they will be calling him to tell him what information they need. So far it's just an extended Schedule A. then they will call for an interview. With any luck, they will tell him all this and setup an interview at the same time, but not sure, the probably will need the forms first to complete that section prior to interview.

Gotta say... this is not looking great for getting a visa anytime real soon. So depressed, but trying to stay positive. At least someone has looked at it long enough to say that although there is a lot of evidence that the relationship has existed for over a year,and they believe the relationship is genuine, an interview is recommended.

although it was not the news I was hoping for, (I would have liked to see interview: waived, and everything else not in a status of 'not started') I am happy that I got the notes, and I can try and put a better perspective on things. And I won't be going shopping to get winter wear for him this year. He'll get to do that next year on his own.

How would my husband get the information to the VO? He lives too far to go there to drop it off, and cuban mail is sketchy. Your advice?

ohh! yes you are right! so... they want more? even though the application wanted just 10 years? I'm sorry to hear that!

I don't know whether or not to request my note files or note- A friend of mine told me when they pull our file out of the pile it goes back to the back - but i dont know if i beleive that....

Mrs. Hubby... how much longer? I feel HOPELESS today....
