Still no news on the notes I'm guessing?

Focus on the good half, and that you will be together soon!!!! I am so excited that there are only 22 more days before I get to see my husband. We don't have anywhere to stay yet, so instead of freaking out (which I did for a little while), I'm now thinking this is going to be an adventure!

R u going to Varadero? Just go in person to rent a case particular they range from like $25-40/night

Thanks, but no, we will be in Banes (1 1/5 hrs from Holguin) My father-in-law is very sick, so my husband needs to stay close to home, but his place is very full (mother, step-father- who had a stroke last year and needs special care, his brother, nephew, nephew's wife and 1 year old), all in a small 2 bedroom. There are not very many casas in Banes, and we are on a tight budget... he had to quit his job at the resort, and so many major expenses this year with the wedding, immigration, home repairs... bla bla bla.

That suck Well hopefully u find something, keep searching for them casas because it would be your best bet

I'm half miserable and half excited cause I'm going to see my husband on Sunday! ;D

I'm just annoyed with this whole process.

I'm with you! I just watch body language and try and catch a few words that I recognize from English or French. My husbands would like me to learn, but he's the WORST teacher.

Yep. Same here. He has no patience to teach me Spanish or dancing Cuban salsa....sigh
It doesn't help that they speak lightening fast and cut off their words either.

OMG! the speed that they talk! Even when my husband speaks English (and when he attempts french) he talks way too fast. LOL. I understand a lot of his friends better than him, just because they say words... not an entire sentence that sounds like one long word!!

you girls are so funny!!! When i met my hubby i didn't know how to sting a sentance together but slowly slowly i learned - beleive it or not, spanish movies, spanish music and spanish games on my phone helped alot... now we mostly only speak in spanish!! hahaha i watch alot of vine video's #cubansbelike THATS WHERE I PICK UP ALL MY CUBAN SLANG... my hubby dies cos he's like where did you learn that!!!

I hate Mondays even more than usual because it's the start of another week of waiting. I know, I know... its one week closer to our answers but today I have ants in my pants!! I wish they would just clear their desks and push our paperwork out already!!!

Hi everyone, I just wanted to let everyone know that my husband got a call from the Embassy today, he has to be at the Embassy on Dec 9th at 8:30, we are very very excited, no words can describe how we feels! I know there is a few of you waiting and I just wanted to post this to give you some hope and a timeline. I received my SA on July 10, so it has almost been exactly 4 months since receipt of my SA...I find the date is far from now, so maybe some of you guys will get a call too!!!

Tomorrow is the big day!!!!! Sending positive vibes! You have to let us all know what happens...

How is everyone doing? I'm really irritated today... I think I have to start taking some reality pills and realize that I will not be bringing him home in January! I have these moments of certanty where I believe that soon, any day now he will be calling me with news. And then there are days like today that I just can't seem to pull myself up and be positive!! Anyone feel like this? Can anyone help cheer me up? Cos ironocally the one person who can help me can't be with me!

Hey hon I wish I could help, but unfortunately I'm in an even worse mood because I'm so waiting for SA....still NOTHING! SINCE LATE AUGUST! That alone should make you feel better, because you could be in my situation LOL. Cheer up buttercup, you'll be seeing him soon and that will help the time pass. Maybe it's best he comes in January. New year new life
