The story begins like many others . Nicole ( fictitious name ), a semi- retired teacher , took a week's holiday in one all-inclusive Cayo Coco , Cuba. She falls in love with Alex ( fictitious name ), the security guard at the hotel where she is staying.
"It was like a thunderbolt. I found it beautiful , "said the woman in a telephone interview with La Presse . " And everyone told me it was an extraordinary man . "
A few days later , the young man joins her in her room. They make love . Despite an age of 35 and although she speaks French and Spanish him away , the couple decides to stay in touch .
" I thought it would not go away, but when I returned home , he contacted me indeed ," says the sexagenarian . From that moment, she speaks on the phone every week . Then she returned to Cuba for his birthday. This time she spends two weeks and met the family of her lover . The following summer , Nicole rent an apartment in the island to live a full relationship. It remains two months. Madly in love with the young man , she proposed marriage . He accepts . "I was worried about our age difference. But he told me he loved me for me. Not for my money. " Ceremony is celebrated six months to fifty friends and family members of the husband and wife no close . His children are strongly opposed to the union.
An abrupt end
A year and a half later, after much paperwork , Alex has finally join his wife in Quebec. It's party . Going on at the airport , but she was surprised to discover that her husband already has several friends of Cuban origin in Canada. There he has never yet spoken.

Can anybody tell me how long of a waiting list is there to get a medical done in Havana? Can one book and pre pay from Canada with CIC? Does anybody know? Maybe I should just call CIC LOL. It is difficult to get through sometimes and thought maybe to get a faster response here. :
